Personal response depends on the viewer's thoughts and values individually. This might be sometimes in conflict with cultural values.
2. Methodology
The way an image is viewed arises from the history of the media. Through time, images have been changed because of the use of different (new) media.
3. Change by design
The cultural perspective involves the identity of symbols. The uses of words that are related to the image, the use of heroes in the image, etc.
4. Solving problems
